Pitsford Reservoir

Originally opened in 1956, Pitsford is now a recreational haven for everyone and so much more than 750 acres of water.

Pitsford has been blessed with a generous grant from the Millennium Commisison, which has enabled the creation of Brixworth Country Park.

Cyclists and walkers can take one of the trails; nature lovers and anglers can enjoy the nature reserve at the northern end of Pitsford; sailing enthusiasts can use the facilities of the resident Northampton Sailing Club, and those who just want some peace and tranquility in the country can simply relax in the surroundings.
