Day nine - Clattercote Reservoir

10 March 2010

So the sun was shining, the litter pickers were ready, what would we find on our adventure at Clattercote reservoir?  We searched though the bushes and found... breakfast... sausages, cheese, unused teabags and even a frying pan!

Others at the site attacked broken boards on the boardwalk, leaves on the fishing platforms and vegetation threatening to damage the dam wall.

We were joined by volunteers from Banbury and District Angling club and Oxfordshire IWA as well as BW staff  and our Chairman Tony Hales.  It was good day out, the wind was a little cold, but we got a lot done and could really see the difference.  I managed to get a few pictures, but my blackberry corrupted some of them!

Thanks to everyone who helped.
