Towpath Tidy with Marple Locks Heritage Society

Our Towpath Tidy day was on 10th March when ten of us turned up on the Marple Locks Flight.
We worked on locks 6 and 7, painting the gates and bollards -Â this is ongoing work that we started last year at Lock 1. We also treated two benches and two of our members trimmed saplings from Lock 1 to Lock 7 - all in all a good morning's work.
We also potentially gained two new members which is great. Hope everyone else's events went well too.
