Walking along the Barnby Broad
The Broads offer many opportunities for walking, with over 190 miles (300 km) of footpaths through some of the area's most attractive landscapes. There are nature trails, circular walks and long distance footpaths suitable for anything from a gentle stroll to a strenuous hike.
There are two series of Broads Walks along public footpaths: the Waveney Valley and the Bure valley walks. The former are at Beccles Marshes, Bungay (the Bigod Way), Burgh Castle, Carlton Marshes, Geldeston, Gillingham and Haddiscoe.
Broadwalks suitable for wheelchairs can be found at the nature reserve here also.
