Black Swan Lake

Black Swan Lake is one of the lakes that form part of Dinton Pastures - over 335 acres of rivers, meadows, lakes, and wooded areas which once formed part of the Great Forest of Windsor. This lake, as with the others, was originally a gravel pit in the construction of the M4; it's now an important habitat for wildlife.

In 2002, the park launched a free-of-charge mobility scooter scheme, which has proved extremely useful in exploring the pastures. There are a whole host of ranger-led and teacher-led educational activities on offer here too. The Lake is best known for its watersports opportunities. Please call the Black Swan Sailing Club on (0118) 934 4424.
