Update (22 February 2008): Please note, Prescott Channel is now expected to re-open in November 2008.
In anticipation of Olympic related works and the proposed water control structure there will be no access to Waterworks River & Three Mills Walled River (Bow Back Rivers) for craft from March 2007 to August 2008.

The towpaths alongside Channelsea River and Prescott Channel will be closed to facilitate the construction of a new lock and water control structures.
Towpath diversions will not be possible due to the lack of practical alternative routes.
