Cycling along the Cannock Extension Canal
The canal is fully open to cyclists. Please cycle with great care and courtesy to others, observing the Waterways Code for Cyclists. You must display a valid British Waterways permit on your cycle at all times. Further information can be obtained by contacting the Canal Information Centre.
To cycle along the towpath, you will need a British Waterways cycling permit which you can download, free of charge.
Cycling routes
Unfortunately we don’t currently have any information on cycling routes along the Cannock Extension Canal.
