Wildlife along the Cotswold Water Park

Wildlife is in abundance throughout the year here. By the lakes you may spot dragonflies, butterflies or just meadows a wash with colour. Kingfishers, Dippers, Wagtails, Otters, Mink and Crayfish love the waters, and even the rare water vole has been sighted on occasion. There are three nature reserves here, ideal for birdwatching. Keep a look out for singing Warblers, Sand Martins, Hobbies, Herons, Plovers, Grebe varities and migratory birds, amongst many others.
