Leaflets describing Family Walks around Derwentwater are available from the National Trust shop by the lake at Lakeside Car Park. You could walk the shoreline, climb up Catbells Mountain or to Walla Crag and Surprise View. Also it's only a short walk from the picturesque market town of Keswick.
