Fishing along the Driffield Navigation

The Driffield Navigation Trust ("DNT") manage the Navigation and allow free fishing, but should be contacted prior to arrival. Certain nearby landowners may wish to charge, but the DNT ask that you contact them should you be asked for a 'licence' fee.

The Navigation has tidal and non-tidal sections and the most coarse fish can be found here - perch, bream, roach - as well as a lurking pike here and there and the odd trout.

If fishing from a boat a Visitor's licence is required which costs just £5 per year. Small boats can be launched from Frodingham Landing and Driffield Riverhead. There is also free parking at these locations.

An Environment Agency licence is still required in addition to any permits or licences issued by individual landowners.
