Ennerdale Water
Ennerdale is two and a half miles long, three quarters of a mile wide and 148ft deep. Forest land around the lake provides ample opportunity for walking, observing nature and admiring the views.
The most westerly of all the lakes and, all in all, rather remote makes Ennerdale a great escape.
