Restriction: Langley Bridge Lock
09 May 2011 until further notice
Associated Regional Office: East Midlands Waterways
Due to contractors working on the water supply to the Erewash Canal and stopping the River Erewash water feed to the canal, all water to the Erewash Canal will need to be taken from the Nethergreen Brook feed to the Great Northern Basin.
In order to maintain this feed please leave this lock empty after use with one tail gate paddle left in the up position. Boaters who are locking up to the Basin and locking back in a short time need not empty the lock until they lock down.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused, if you have any problems, do not hesitate to contact us.
(Enquiries: Chris Martin, Works Engineer 01827 252000.)
