Fishing along the Esthwaite Water
Commonly rated as one of the finest waters in the Lake District, Esthwaite is excellent not only for trout (rainbow, wild brown), but for pike and coarse fishing (roach, rudd, perch, tench and even the occasional eel – season runs from 1st Nov – 31st March inc.).
