The footpath is a total of 11 miles, starting at the Quay and taking you through the Riverside Valley Park. It's a leisurely route for every level of cyclists, with the added bonus of all the wildlife in the Park and along the canal to see. There's also the shorter 7-mile 'Exeter Canal Trail' along the Canal, should you prefer. Please be prepared to slow down and give way to other users of the canal.

There are several bike hire outlets in town to suit all ages and sizes.
