Norton Junction to Foxton Locks

Occasionally, craft of full 7ft beam may experience difficulty in Foxton Locks.

Foxton Junction to King's Lock, Leicester

Headroom is more limited for boats of more than 10ft 6in beam, and especially so approaching the maximum beam. It will be necessary for such boats to proceed with extreme caution.

The channel width is restricted in some places, and broad-beam boats may have difficulty passing other boats.
