Walking along the Loch Leven

Glencoe is famed for its challenging terrain, most suited to serious hill walkers. The Mamore Mountains are also within easy reach and offer a variety of routes for the experienced hiker. However, with a chairlift taking you up the mountain in minutes, even Sunday-afternoon strollers can enjoy the spectacular Highland scenery. Beware of the ever-changing weather conditions which demand suitable clothing, functional equipment and, above all, respect.

Less experienced walkers may wish to take advantage of local guides who provide leadership and/or basic training advice.
