Those sections of the canal that are in water have been leased to angling clubs.

  • Canal Wharf, Bury to Ladyshore Road Bridge: Waterway Wanderers.
  • Ladyshore Road to Canal End at Paper Mill: Tonge Ancling Club.
  • Hall Lane to Nob End: Bolton & District Angling Association.
  • Road Bridge to Ringley Lock, Prestolee, and Park House Road to Canal End: Waterway Wanderers.
