To facilitate installation and improvements to the towpath surface the towpath shall be closed between Bridges 62 and 74. There will be works proceeding at 4 separate locations on the above length. It is proposed that wherever possible the towpath will remain open apart from those lengths where works are actually being undertaken, but due to the unknown rate of progress it will not be possible to accurately predict when these closures will be needed. Maps will be posted to advise users of the possible diversion routes.
