The Taff Trail is a 55-mile route along disused railways, country lanes and canal towpaths. It follows the Mon & Brec for a short while between Brecon and Brynich, as well as parts of the long-lost Glamorganshire Canal, paths alongside reservoirs, and tracks through river valleys. It starts at Cardiff, then heads inland to Pontypridd, Merthyr Tydfil, Cefn Coed and Brecon. See below for our full guide including detailed maps.
