Walking along the New Junction Canal

A new 45-mile circular footpath route in North Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire is the Peatlands Way, crossing Thorne and Hatfield Moors, various wildlife sites and passing historic villages like Thorne, Crowle, Kirk Bramwith and Sykehouse.

It connects to the Trans Pennine Trail at Bramwith and Sykehouse on the New Junction Canal, as well as with various other walks and trails in the area.
