Cycling along the Oulton Broad

The Broads is a perfect area to explore by bike, with its many miles of gentle and peaceful country lanes. There is a network of Broads Bike Hire points from local boat yards and shops in the region. Bicycles can be hired by the day or half day at very reasonable rates (currently £9 for a whole day), and free route maps area available from each location. Some tandems are also available.

There are three Broads Bike Hire places within a short distance of Oulton Broad:

- Outney Meadow Caravan Park, Bungay (01986 892338)
- Stokesby Riverside Tea Rooms & Stores (01493 750470), and
- Whitlingham Norfolk Youth and Community Service (01493 368129)
