Fishing along the Peak Forest Canal
Coarse fishing is available on the canal, though not in abundant supply. There are stocks of carp and tench at Marple. Fishing rights are leased to Stockport & District Angling Federation, and day tickets are available.
An Environment Agency rod licence is required in addition to any day tickets or permits. This is available from your local Post Office.
Unfortunately we don’t currently have any information on fishing and fisheries along the Peak Forest Canal.
