Wildlife along the River Adur
The area around Henfield Levels is one of unspoiled wetland and a draw to dragonflies, damselflies and overwintering wetland birds. The final tidal route to the sea - a distance of some 11. 25 miles - runs through the Shoreham Gap Valley, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site.
