The River Ancholme

The peaceful River Ancholme runs straight as an arrow for 17 miles, all the way from rural Lincolnshire to the mighty Humber Estuary at Ferriby Bridge.

There is an historic suspension bridge crossing the navigation at Horkstow and the navigation passes through the centre of the old market town of Brigg.
