Cycling along the River Ant

The Broads is a perfect area to explore by bike, with its many miles of gentle and peaceful country lanes. There is a network of Broads Bike Hire points from local boat yards and shops in the region. Bicycles can be hired by the day (currently £9) or half day (currently just £5) and free route maps area available from each location. Bikes are available for all sizes and ages, plus children's seats, helmets, locks and bag racks. Occasionally tandems are available.

There are five bike hire places within a short distance of the River Ant:

- Sutton Staithe Boat Yard (01692 581653)
- Camelot Craft, Hoveton (01603 783096) - with access to the Bure Valley Cycle Path, and
- Ludham Bridge Boat Services (01692 630486)
- Barton Angler Country Inn, Neatishead (01603 783096)
