Cycling along the River Arun
There are no cycling routes specifically along the River Arun, however the South Downs Way is a 100-mile route in total and crosses the River Arun. A route of a mix of footpaths, bridleways, tracks and minor roads, you can join at numerous places along the way, should you not be inclined to ride the whole way. You will be delighted in the views of both the North and South Downs and the stunning Adur Valley along the way as well as taking you through Queen Elizabeth Country Park near Winchester.
The West Sussex District Association of the Cyclists' Touring Club organises many cycle meets which run between the River Arun and the Adur, and even cycle tours to France and other places.
