Walking along the River Bure
There are many lovely walks in the Bure valley, whether you want a short stroll to the broad's edge at Salhouse, or something more strenuous like the seven-and-a-half mile walk from Upton to South Walsham - where you'll see the impressive ruin of St Benet's Abbey across the river.
There are two series of Broads Walks along public footpaths: the Waveney Valley and the Bure Valley Walks. The latter are at Cockshoot (near Woodbastwick), Filby, Oby, Salhouse, Stokesby, Tunstall, Upton to South Walsham, and West Caister.
