Walking along the River Chet

The River Chet is an easy and pleasant walk all the way from Loddon to the end of the river at Hardley Cross. An out-and-back walk is just seven miles long, so can comfortably be walked in an afternoon, but you should allow extra time to explore Hardley Flood Nature Reserve.

The Broads offer many opportunities for walking, with over 190 miles (300 km) of footpaths through some of the area's most attractive landscapes. There are nature trails, circular walks and long distance footpaths suitable for anything from a gentle stroll to a strenuous hike.
