Cycling along the River Eden

Due to the breathtaking location, it's as if the Eden Valley was made for walkers, cyclists and ramblers. There are a number of long distance cycle rides for riders of all abilities – have a go at the whole thing or why not just try one section?

‘The Coast to Coast Ride' takes cyclists from St. Bees in Cumbria 210 miles to Robin Hood's Bay in North Yorkshire. It takes riders through three beautiful National Parks, over moorland and rocky terrain. The route is broken up into 8 stages of roughly 30 miles per day.

For something a touch shorter, why not have a go at the C2C Cycle Route – also known as Sea to Sea – believed to be Britain's most popular ‘challenging' route. Find out more… http://www.sustrans.co.uk/default.asp?sID=1094747349296

Waymarked throughout the entire route, the Cumbria Cycle Way both begins and ends in Carlisle.
