Cycling along the River Fowey

The beautiful Fowey Valley is a haven for cyclists. For cyclists in search of a long distance challenge, the Land's End to John O'Groats cycle route runs not far from Fowey.

A 19-mile (five and a half hour) circular route runs through the valley from Lostwithiel to Polruan and back via Fowey. The journey passes through secluded villages and open countryside, including a ferry trip and several challenging uphill climbs – not for the faint-hearted! Find out more
