Wildlife along the River Ivel

Rich in wildlife, the Ivel is home to the rare otter as well as many other species.

Water voles and kingfishers can also be seen along the banks. The Bedfordshire Otters & Rivers Project is working to help the return of otters to the Ivel and other nearby rivers.
