River Little Ouse (Brandon River)

The Little Ouse travels for 23 rural miles through Cambridgeshire fenlands from the River Great Ouse to Thetford, although access above Brandon is limited.

The practical head of navigation is Brandon Staunch, but dinghies may explore much further. The hamlet of Brandon Creek was virtually destroyed by the rising waters of the two rivers when a blizzard hit the area in 1916.
