Fishing along the River Rother (East)
The Eastern Rother experiences small runs of migratory fish, notably sea trout, which are usually caught between June and the end of October. The middle and lower river reaches are principally populated by quality coarse fisheries composed of roach, bream, chub, perch, pike and eels. The lower Rother makes a popular venue for match fisherman because of the consistency of their catches.
