Towpath Closure only: Cossington Road Bridge - Rothley Brook Bridge

The towpath has been closed between Cossington Road Bridge and Rothley Brook Bridge (21B) as erosion has left it in an unsafe condition.

There is a public footpath adjacent to the closed towpath, on the opposite side of the river.

Total Reclaims Demolition Contractors will be working on behalf of Turner & Townsend to demolish the exterior walls of the Old Bus Station. The site will be fully fenced alongside the towpath allowing for its full and safe use.
Customers are requested to take care whilst approaching and passing the works.
