Cycling along the River Stour (Suffolk)

There's a whole plethora of cycleways, mostly along traffic-free country lanes, which suit all levels of cyclist. Particularly welcoming is the dry climate, making the appeal of cycling through some of Britain's most beautiful countryside (and the inspiration for many of John Constable's paintings) so much greater.

Also the 10,000 mile National Cycle Network from SUSTRANS will pass through Manningtree and close to the River Stour.
