Wildlife along the River Taff

As well as plentiful fish stocks, the River Taff also boasts a variety of birdlife including herons and kingfishers. Families of mink have made their home along its banks and, more suprisingly, a survey by the Glamorgan Wildlife Trust has indicated that the native otter may also be making a comeback.
