Walking along the River Tay

Due to the villages and idyllic areas that the River Tay flows through, there is always somewhere peaceful and scenic to walk with the tranquil sound of the river in your ear.

The river attracts many walkers and ramblers with "The Birks of Aberfeldy" nature walk. The path was established by the Moness Estate and passes by a number of picturesque waterfalls. After his visit to one named 'Den of Moness', Robert Burns was inspired to write the poem 'The Birks O' Aberfeldy' which resulted in the name change of the falls.
