The Tees Barrage Upstream Sailing Association promotes sailing on the River Tees for all abilities and interests.

Beginners wanting to dip their toes in the water may like to visit Castlegate Quay Watersports Centre where kayaking, sailing, bell boating, canoeing and power boating are just some of the activies on offer.
