Fishing along the River Teign
The length of the Teign boasts salmon, trout and sea trout with large stretches available to visiting anglers. The Upper Teign Fishing Association have the rights to fish approximately 12 miles of the scenic upper reaches. Permits are available from most tackle shops.
The best times for sea trout fishing are late spring and summer. Fly fishing for wild brown trout can be enjoyed at almost any point during the season but May and June often yield the best results.
