Builders are to carry out works to renovate Huddlestone Wharf, Mill Gate, Newark.
The works will involve removing by hand the existing gable end of the building adjacent to the navigation and rebuilding.
The works will be fully sheeted to prevent debris and dust falling into the canal. None of the works will encroach onto the navigation and the site will be signed for information.
No delays are envisaged for the duration of the works.

Opening Times: River Trent non-tidal lock opening hours

From April the opening hours for the non-tidal locks on the River Trent will be 09.30am - 18.00pm.

Towpath has been closed

Works are taking place to improve the surface of the path from Beeston Marina for approximately 280m towards Attenborough Nature Reserve.

The works will be signed on-site and diversions in place.
