Fishing along the River Trent

There are about 35 different types of fish living in the River Trent: the main types are roach, chub, dace, bream, carp, pike and gudgeon. There are also some salmon and eels. Angling clubs, including the Derby Railway Angling Club, hold fishing rights for much of the river. Day passes are usually available from wardens.
