Walking along the River Wharfe

The River Wharfe at Tadcaster, the River Ouse between Bishopthorpe and Acaster Malbis at Fulford and at Cawood offer enjoyable walks. Try:

Cawood - Wolsey Walk (5 miles) around the historic village of Cawood as well as along the River Wharfe.

There are numerous specially provided foothpaths (by Selby District Council) around the River.

Walking routes

Unfortunately we don’t currently have any information on walking routes along the River Wharfe.
