Walking along the River Wye

The Wye Valley Walk combines river and hill walks all the way from the source of the River Wye to Chepstow - a distance of 136 miles.

The scenery is breathtaking through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, plus you can see all the historic sights along the way, like the city of Hereford, Symonds Yat and Tintern Abbey.

You can choose the point at which you join the walk, and for how long you decide to stay. The official guide, incorporating detailed maps and scenic pictures of the route is published by the Wye Valley Walk Partnership.

In addition there are lots of lovely villages and public footpaths nearby which you can stroll at leisure.

Cerdded yng nghyffiniau’r Afon Gwy

Mae Taith Gerdded Dyffryn Gwy yn cyfuno teithiau cerdded yn y bryniau a ger yr afon yr holl ffordd o darddle’r Afon Gwy i Gas-gwent – pellter o 136 o filltiroedd.

Mae’r golygfeydd yn hynod drawiadol yn yr Ardal o Harddwch Naturiol Eithriadol hon, a gallwch fwynhau’r holl olygfeydd hanesyddol ar hyd y ffordd, fel dinas Henffordd, Symonds Yat ac Abaty Tyndyrn.

Gallwch ddewis ymhle i ymuno â’r daith gerdded ac ymhle i ffarwelio â hi. Mae’r arweinlyfr swyddogol yn cynnwys mapiau manwl a lluniau hyfryd o’r daith ac mae’n cael ei gyhoeddi gan y Wye Valley Walk Partnership.

Yn ogystal, gallwch gerdded yn hamddenol drwy’r pentrefi hardd ac ar hyd y llwybrau cyhoeddus gerllaw.
