Fishing along the Royal Military Canal

The Canal has summer coarse fishing only. Roach, rudd, tench, bream, perch, carp, pike and eels are all common here.

  • Seabrook outfall to Giggers Green - seven miles, Cinque Ports AS.
  • Appledore Dam to Iden Lock - three miles, Rother FA
  • Mock Hill Farm to Arrow Head Bridge - CALPAC

Day tickets for most stretches of the canal are available from the bailiff or local tackle shops. A current rod licence is also required, available from local Post Offices.

Unfortunately we don’t currently have any information on fishing and fisheries.
