Walking along the Royal Military Canal

After some major restoration work, the full 28 miles of the canal has a public waymarked footpath, with interpretation boards to explain the history of this unique navigation. It's a really interesting walk for the wildlife this area has on offer.

The Romney Marsh Countryside Project lead numerous walks throughout the region, throughout the year. The countryside has hundreds of miles of footpath, country lanes and bridleways to suit every need. Find out more at www.rmcp.co.uk.
