Wildlife along the Rudyard Lake

The area is abundant with many species of wildlife and bird watchers frequent the lake from all over the country. Owing to the fact that Rudyard is actually a working reservoir and thus the water levels vary during the draw down periods many wading and migrating birds can be seen on the mudflats at the northern end.
