Cycling along the Rutland Water

The path around the reservoir has been specially designed for cyclists, with good waymarking, no stiles to cross, and gentle gradients. You can follow the full circuit (17 miles), add the Hambleton Peninsula diversion (a further six), or take a shorter route.

There are cycle hire and equipment centres at Whitwell and Normanton (01780 460705), with an easy route between the two.
