Fishing along the Sheffield & South Yorkshire Navigation
Many sections are leased to angling associations and clubs. These include:
- Rotherham to Sprotborough (9 miles): all Rotherham AA, except short lengths controlled by Group 35 AC, Conisborough AC, E Hemingthorpe S & SC, and Guest & Chrimes Ltd AS
- Sprotborough to Kirk Sandall (6 miles): Doncaster AA
- Kirk Sandall to Railway Bridge: Pilkington (Kirk Sandal) Rec C
- Kirk Sandall to Barnby Dun: Barnby Dun SAC
You may be able to obtain day passes from patrolling wardens.
Unfortunately we don’t currently have any information on fishing and fisheries.
