Swansea Canal
This once-busy industrial canal has been closed since the 1930s, but restoration is slowly taking place.
The canal is navigable around Clydach and Pontardawe, where the local canal society operates a trip-boat. Look out for the Lower Clydach Aqueduct, an attractive crossing at a grand waterway confluence of canal and two rivers. An attractive 'green corridor' through the landscape, the canal is a pleasant place to take a weekend walk.
Camlas Abertawe
Bu Camlas Abertawe, oedd unwaith yn gamlas ddiwydiannol brysur ar gau ers y 1930au, ond erbyn hyn mae’n cael ei hadfer yn raddol.
Mae’n bosibl teithio ar gwch o gwmpas Clydach a Phontardawe, a threfnir teithiau pleser ar gychod gan Gymdeithas Camlesi Abertawe. Cadwch olwg am Bont Dd?r Clydach Isaf, sy’n croesi cydlifiad camlas a dwy afon mewn llecyn hyfryd. Mae cerdded ar hyd coridor gwyrdd y gamlas yn daith bleserus fwrw’r Sul.
