Cycle along the Swansea Canal

Cycling is not currently recommended on the canal towpath.

Neath Port Talbot council in conjunction with British Waterways have plans to upgrade the towpath between Clydach and Pontardawe for walking and cycling.

The section south through Clydach is planned to be improved as part of a joint scheme with the City & County of Swansea, Sustrans and British Waterways.
